EKG (Electrocardiogram)

An EKG, or electrocardiogram, is a painless test that records the heart’s electrical activity, or heart rhythm. Physicians can examine the recorded activity to help determine if a patient has had a heart attack, has an irregular heartbeat, a faint heartbeat, or other problems.
